I researched a few sets online and on amazon and decided to go with  soft box lighting as I didn't want my subjects to get too hot (manly do model photography) My in home studio is moderately sized and I wanted something not too expensive but gave me a bang for my buck. The lights alone (ten included) almost cover the cost of the set. It is super easy to set up and definitely portable. M.
