If you are serious about your next video production then this is the kit for you. Professionals use this type of lighting for everything from interviews to independent films.

The two main lights in this kit are the 1300 watt PBL MX-Light Twin. These lights have a dual bulb lighting system so they can be used at half power, 650 watts or at full power, 1300 watts all without any color change or dimming. This means you can have the light you need at the flick of a switch. Use directly with the included barndoors or with the softbox for soft directional light. We've made one of these softboxes extra large- at 36x48 inches, this softbox will provide a greater dispersion of the light and give you a soft, naturalistic glow.

On the Boom Stand you can use one of the three MX6-CF Focusable 650 watt lights. These are 650 watt focus adjustable lights. With these lights you can go from a broad beam to a spot. Either of these lights can be used directly, with the barndoor or with the 24x24 inch softbox. These included 24 inch softboxes come with an optional grid, or egg-crate that you can velcro onto the front of the softbox. This extra feature allows for the soft light to be more directional than just a regular softbox, thus you get less light bleeding all over your set and the light falls where you want it to.
