The EZ softbox has an integral lighting fixture and rod assembly. This means no more rods and speedrings to fight with. Simply push the central ring in, around the light holder, and your softbox is together. Just mount on the light stand, screw in your bulb and velcro on the front diffuser and you are ready to start shooting.

It's a hobby so I didn't want to spend too much - and lighting can get expensive. I also wanted more than "home built" lighting system with green screen. Since I was working in a small space, I also wanted cool (temp) lights. I was/am really impressed with this set. I had a question for the manufacture about a green scree fill light in addition to the set and they were extremelly helpful (I didn't need anything more) So with a great product and great customer service, I highly recommend this set.
