This is one of the most versatile lights you can purchase. It is focusable going from a spot at 22 degrees to wide angle at 65 degrees, just by turning the focusing knob. You will be amazed at the difference in your photography. This light kit can be used as a main light "as is" without diffusion for dramatic hard lighting effects or use it with the included softbox. This softbox will soften the light, giving you the kind of wrap around light that is prized by photographers. Use it with or without a the included grid.

Attaching a grid to the front of a softbox allows you to utilize more of the available light. The grid's honeycomb design makes the light more directional. Less of the light is spilled around your subject, and more of the light will fall directly onto your subject.
