This 8ft stand will give you years of service. Metal tube construction for extra heavy duty use, this stand is spring loaded for smooth and easy raising and lowering of each section, keeps your lights from slamming down. The all metal locking collars, lock the stands risers in place with a quarter turn locking mechanism. This is as tough as they come, unlike other stands with plastic locking collars  that strip out. Black non-glare finish. Rubber tips on legs to prevent movement.
