PBL Light Stands, 8ft Spring Loaded, Metal Locking Collars, Set of 2

This is a set of two  PBL pro heavy duty light stands, each with it's own carry bag. These stands will hold strobes or continuous lights up to 15 lbs. with an extra wide footprint to keep stand from falling over. These 8' stands will give you years of service. Metal tube construction for extra heavy duty use, each stand is spring loaded for smooth and easy raising and lowering of each section, keeps your lights from slamming down. The all metal locking collars, lock the stands risers in place with a quarter turn locking mechanism. This is as tough as they come, unlike other stands with plastic locking collars  that strip out. Black non-glare finish. Rubber tips on legs to prevent movement.

I needed to replace some VERY old Photogenic stands in the studio. These stands came in their own individual carrying cases (nothing fancy, but they work great) and are quite sturdy. No issues with extending, clamping, and the knobs tighten just fine. I am probably going to purchase more of these stands for the studio. 2 thumbs up...A.C.
