I am a new customer to Steve Kaeser and thus far I plan on being a long term customer. I have even referred some of my colleagues to this site. The Customer Service I have received has been outstanding thus far. In particular Bettina has been extremely helpful and patient with my inquiries. I have called several times and she has walked me through any areas I was unsure of as well as provided with a wealth of information in the most helpful manner. I recently ordered a Cool-Flo kit and a backdrop stand with a few backdrops. I received very valuable information from customer service on how to order and receive my items in the least amount of time. They also provided me with the information that I would need to make my decision when choosing this new gear. When the package arrived and I started unpacking I was blown away by the quality of the items sent and how much "bang" I was able to get for my "buck"! At one point I got stuck while putting together a softbox. Figuring it out was as easy as getting on their website and watching a quick, informative video. Here's where I was really impressed though; One of the lights was missing it's mount that should have been installed at the factory. My shoot was the next day and I needed a way to mount that light for things to go well! So I anxiously called the folks at Steve Kaeser, and not only were they helpful, but the they were friendly and understanding of the situation. They were able to quickly find a solution that allowed me to have a successful shoot the next afternoon with my new light mounted on it's stand! Customer service like this is becoming a rarity in this day and age! I seriously think that Steve Kaeser and his crew should look into giving customer service seminars on the side!!! They exemplify the best in service and quality and I look forward to working with them in the future. Thanks for a rare and wonderful buying experience!

Wow, you guys are great!  I really appreciate the fast turnaround time on my order.  I'm glad I found your website today.  Honestly, I normally order from B&H photo, but they didn't have an economical boom stand / softbox / monolight kit that was in my price range.  I then Googled some search terms related to boom stands, and your website came up.  The one I ordered from you guys is, by far, the best deal I've seen on that type of kit.  I then saw the type backdrop support stand I had been searching for (economically priced, sturdy construciton, super wide and tall, carrying bag), so I was really glad to have found your website at that point!  The lady on the phone was super nice and knowledgable when I asked a few questions about the MX-160 monolight.

I just received my new light stand from you only 2 days after ordering it.  I already own your CL-3000 kit (which I love) and am very impressed with your quality, prices, and customer service.   The thank you note you include with all your orders is also a nice touch that sets you apart.

I found this gentleman and his business on Ebay, could not believe the pricing on lights and backgrounds.  I looked around to try and beat the deals he had on packaging and setups........don't waste your time, there are none.

 
I bought a 920 ws light system from him, bid on 2 shoot thru umbrellas, and
2 more backgrounds.  These transactions have been smooth as can be.  Very
professional and attentive to my every concern.
 
The lights and all the extras, stands, softboxes, everything is better than
I expected.  All the non electronic equipment is better than what I used to
have.  I was a photog for 12 years in business for myself with 2 complete
studio setups, 8 cameras all the way from 35mm to a 4x5 view camera, so I
have shot them all.  I had 'professional' equipment back then and actually
these would have served the same purpose at a much reduced cost.  Again this
guys deals are hard to beat.
 
I find Steve to be very very professional in his handling of concerns.  I
say concerns because problems don't exist long as he fixes them right away.
A rare find, but a very welcome one indeed.
 
When I did photography for a living it was just that, now I am going to have
some fun with it, and Steve's products and services are going to be awesome
this time.  If you either are like me, in it for some fun, or a serious
portrait, product, studio photog, give this guy a chance, it was well worth
it for me.
 
Whether thru the store or Ebay, I highly recommend this place and Steve!

Dear Steve Kaeser & Company, 

I normally don’t spend a lot of time with feedback about a product or products, but this is one of those times I have to make an exception.  If anybody asks me for a good place to go for photo equipment, I’ll send ‘em straight to you.  I’ve recently purchased a background stand, pair of light stands, a softbox, a BY-160 flash, and a pair of your umbrella-softboxes.  Dollar-for-dollar, I’d put this gear up against anything on the market that I’ve seen anywhere.  I’m still a bit green when it comes to photography, but I don’t need much photo experience to realize the good value for the money I spend.  If I need or want anything in the way of photo gear in the future, I’ll seek you first.  Best value for the buck and you didn’t rape me with shipping charges.  Thanks again.

I received the two light stand bags last night, much faster than I expected. These very economical bags are excellent and exactly what I need. I have three rather beefy stands that are a tight fit but they make it OK without putting any strain on the zipper, and three smaller stands that go into the second bag along with a roll of gels.   

Thanks for carrying good products at fair prices and for the quick turnaround time. I'm sure I'll be back.

I just purchased and received the D180 Complete Christmas Strobe/Flash Kit and what a great package.  Package came as displayed on the website and has infinite possibilities on the combinations of lighting effects.  I would highly recommend this kit to any starting out professional or a serious amateur.
